they join?

My daughter/son would like to play in the league. How can
they join?
Only teams are accepted in the
league. If your daughter/son would like to play in the
league, they will need to find a coach who intends to enter
a team in the league.

Do all
the teams use the same basketball?
All girls leagues use the
standard Women's 28.5 basketball. Boys leagues up to and
including 4th
grade also use a Women's 28.5 basketball. All other boys
leagues use a standard Men's basketball.

What is the
height of the basket?
Grades 5 and up use a standard
10 foot basket. Grades 1 through 4 use an 8.5 foot basket.
However, some 4th grade leagues, based on their ability,
may use a 10 foot basket.

Are uniforms provided?
Yes. A T-Shirt will be provided
by the league for all players on the team.

My team already has uniforms. Can they wear them for league
games?
Generally, yes. However, you
must submit your request to the league director (via
Feedback) for
approval.

What do I do if
there is bad weather?
If you think that games may be
postponed due to inclement weather, please call the
Malvern League Hotline @ 610-431-6397. A message will be
available regarding the status of the games for that day.
